The American public turned out in droves in Nov. to cast their ballots, Congress was finally noted for bad checks, JFK The The Movie, A Japanese official said Americans are lazy & stupid, the Michelangelo Virus struck unsuspecting computers, Johnny Carson resigned as host of The Tonight Show, & we found out white men CAN jump? Passages: Fred Gernand of Baudtown and Anthony Perkins passed away, as well as Lyle Alzado, who died from brain cancer brought on by steroid usage. Magic Johnson announced he was HIV +, Dan Quayle attacked Murphy Brown, and "Family Values" became a catch-phrase for the year. Sister Soulja made racist remarks, saying Blacks & Hispanics "can't" be racists & Iced Tea's song Cop Killer reminded us of how much hate is really out there!
